Church School
The Christian Education Committee has been meeting regularly to plan for the opening of Church School in September and to assess where we are and what direction we would like to see the Church School take in the future. The committee is a very committed group of teachers, parents and other interested parishioners. The Church School Calendar is set for the 2007-2008 year, and you should be receiving one soon.
Two big jobs we will address at our next meeting will be to assess and order our curriculum needs and plan the recruitment of a new Church School Director and two teachers for the GODLY PLAY program. Naturally we are hoping to have a new Director in place as soon as possible, but in the meantime the committee will assume the responsibilities of the position.

Consider your fellow parishioners. You may know someone who would fit our need for a teacher or director.

Don’t be shy about volunteering to be part of the committee or sharing your suggestions.
We are looking for a team approach.
The team will include:
- One person who is interested in being trained to oversee the Godly Play curriculum
- One person who could manage the organizational tasks such as record keeping, flyers to parents and parishioners, supplies, ordering appropriate curriculum for the different age groups
- One person who will pull together teams for special church school events and Vacation Bible School.
