Please join us for one Friday 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 6:00-7:00 p.m. once every two months at Holy Trinity which now houses THE WEST CHESTER AREA CHILD CUST0DY TRANSFER CENTER. The Center will provide a safe and monitored environment where children can be exchanged for weekend visitation with their non-custodial parent. Referrals will be made through the Courts and other child advocate professionals.
Training of the volunteer monitors will be done by THE CHILDREN’S RIGHTS COUNCIL (www.crckids.org) a not for profit
organization that assists the children of separation, divorce and the never married during the stresses of family breakup. We will work in groups of three or four and the child’s parent will always be present.
You, as a monitor will receive nine hours of training. We are aware that many of you have busy lives and we expect to work around your schedule- so don’t let this keep you from being involved in such a needed outreach. We especially want to see male representation in order to convey an impartial presence with the families being served.
Sandra Fischler of Holy Trinity will coordinate the community program housed at Holy Trinity. Please call if you have any questions and/or wish to join us in this outreach which is so greatly needed in our community!
