Adult Choir

The Adult Choir enjoyed an exciting new year of ministry through music.  God has certainly been at work developing skills and hearts for service in Christ's church here at Holy Trinity.

It was exciting to see new people join the choir at different points during the year.  We had a great response to the invitation to join the choir for Advent & Christmas.  

The choir sings a wide variety of music from different periods, hopefully to the pleasure and benefit of the congregation gathered to worship.  We span the spectrum from baroque to contemporary with composers from many different nations. We sing the familiar and the unfamiliar, some in the chancel accompanied by the organ, some on the altar steps accompanied by the piano, some not accommpanied at all! 

This year we had a great rsponse to our effort to add a new hymnal to the church pews,  "Lift Every Voice and Sing" which will supplement the traditioanl hymnal.

The sanctuary organ, an Allen digital computer model, will be 15 years old this year, and it remains a beautiful instrument to play and hear.

All are invited to join the Adult Choir.  No audition is required, just show up at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday nights for rehearsal. 

Youth Choir

This past Fall saw new blessings with the beginning of the Youth Choir.  8 young people from 4th - 10th grades signed up at the Fall Ministry Fair, and the choir sang at worship services on 3 occasions.  Holy Trinity is blessed to have such a group of kids interested in music; many study and play other instruments as well.  All youth in grades 4 - 10 are invited to join the youth choir.  We rehearse every Sunday morning at 9 a.m.
